Guidelines for Residencies
Thank you to all of our sponsors for your feedback and cooperation with our COVID policy over the last few weeks. Your trust in us and your dedication to arts education is appreciated!
On Tuesday, November 2nd, the CDC approved pediatric COVID-19 vaccines for children ages 5 to 11 years. Distribution began last week, with plans to scale up to full capacity starting this week. As such, our COVID policy is now “masks optional” for all participants. We will not require that anyone show proof of vaccination to participate. We understand that some locations still have masking requirements and we will defer to those policies when in those communities.
Our teaching artists will remain masked for the time being to further mitigate the potential for inter-community spread as they travel to a new town every seven days. If participants choose to wear masks during the week, then we will provide sanitized, clear, vinyl masks for the performance(s) as part of their costume.
