Our 2019 Raffle has officially ended. Thank you to all who participated in this fundraising event!

We are pleased to announce that our New York City Broadway Raffle reached its 300 ticket limit over the weekend thanks to your support!  Due to the fact that we hit the limit before the final raffle deadline of September 16th, we decided to draw early for the prize.  

We send congratulations to the winner, Robert Riter! Our Raffle Concierge, Jeff Kingsbury, will be working with the winner to book this fabulous trip.

We thank everyone who participated in this fundraising event. Even if you weren't the lucky winner this time, it cannot be overstated how important your support is to the Black Hills Playhouse. Here are just some of these things that the funds raised can do for us:

 

  • $24,000 = 9 Interns Funded

  • $24,000 = Royalty Payment for one musical

  • $24,000 = 1/2 of the cost of producing performing arts camps for kids

  • $24,000 = Support for theatre inclusive of people with disabilities

  • $24,000 = 2/3 of production supplies needed for sets, costumes, lights, sound in a season

  • $24,000 = summer utility costs (electric, sewer, garbage, propane)

  • $24,000 = 2/3 cost of hiring professional directors and designers for a season

NYC BHP Raffle
ALL EXPENSES PAID TRIP TO BROADWAY!

Round trip airfare for two from any location in the continental United States!

•    $1,500.00 allowance for the two round trip tickets 

•    The most economical, upgradable economy class fare applies.
•    Every attempt will be made to accommodate your choice of airline but is not guaranteed.
•    Mileage awards will accrue to the traveler
•    Upgrades are the sole responsibility of the winner or designee

Hotel Accommodations for two at The Roosevelt Hotel (or similar) for six days and five nights.

Gray Line bus tour of Manhattan (recommended for the first day).

This iconic “on and off” tour is an absolute must, particularly if the winner is experiencing their first New York City trip! Hop on the double-decker Gray Line bus and take in all of Manhattan while relaxing.  We recommend staying on the bus for the full 4-hour tour, but your ticket allows you to “hop off,” explore an area, and hop back on when another bus comes by (busses are very frequent) Full 4-hour tour covers the entire island of Manhattan and highlights at every landmark imaginable! Tickets for 2-3* New York shows, to be chosen by the winner, based on availability.
Your BHP Concierge will secure TWO (2) tickets each for THREE (3) plays or musicals as follows:

•    1 Broadway Mid Range ticket (mezzanine, no Hamilton)

Post-show dinner at Joe Allen with Broadway luminary Bill Russell* + former BHP company member Joe Allen is THE iconic “apres theatre” restaurant on “Restaurant Row” (46th btw 8th and 9th) in the Broadway theatre district.  It is common to see celebrities grabbing a bite after the theatre.  BHP Alum and 2 time Tony Award nominee, Bill Russell* will join you after the theatre and regale you with tales of his experiences as a Broadway lyricist and book writer.  An additional BHP alumnus will join you for dinner and conversation. Prix Fixe dinner for 2 at Sardi’s
Sardi’s is a beloved New York landmark. Sardi's is the birthplace of the Tony Award and to this day the restaurant is considered a Broadway institution. Additionally, Sardi's is known for the hundreds of caricatures of show-business celebrities that adorn its walls. You’ll enjoy dinner and cocktails before attending one of your Broadway shows. *To complete an entry for the raffle, go to the "Click Here to Enter!" button above or click here. Scroll to the bottom of the page, select how many tickets that you would like to purchase, and enter the required information. After completing your purchase of the raffle tickets, you will receive an email receipt. The winner of the raffle will be contacted on September 17th.

The winner will be eligible to use the raffle package until September 30th, 2020. This offer will expire after that date. Purchases of these tickets are NOT tax-deductible as a charitable donation. By purchasing a ticket you are giving the Black Hills Playhouse permission to use your name for publicity purposes in the event that you are the winner. The winner is liable for all taxes and agrees to provide the information to the Black Hills Playhouse as is necessary to comply with all applicable taxes and legal requirements. Package is transferable to another party.

Residents of Hawaii, Kansas, and Utah are not eligible to participate in this raffle due to state laws. You must be 21 years or older to purchase a ticket. The winner will be chosen at random by the raffle service "Raffle Creator."
